R.I.P.: Bjarne Nielsen
Legendary Danish pipemaker Bjarne Nielsen recently passed away. It is a great loss to the pipe smoking community and he will be missed by us all.
Wow, first I heard of it. He will truly be missed. I purchased my first good (and still favorite) pipe from him. He was always available for questions I had concerning pipe smoking. Tonight a friend invited me over to smoke a pipe, and I am already in the process of cleaning out my viking from bjarne. I'll smoke tonight in remembrance o hime.

ReplyDeleteI have just heard that Bjarne Nielsen has died. I knew him and his family many years ago and am very sorry to hear this news.
